Chris Gayle
SYDNEY, Australia (CMC)
From the article below Chris Gayle has been criticized by Sydney Sixers skipper Brad Haddin for his team not winning and his low scoring.
One of the comments is as follows:

I would love for Chris Gayle to have a one on one consultation with some of our great cricket legends to help him with his batting career....I think now is the time for him to sit in with Viv Richards for batting techniques...I remember the days when Gayle was making double centuries in Test and One day games...So much potential and raw talent in him. He is like raw electrical energy that needs a conduit...
What could also work for Chris Gayle is one-on-one mental coaching. The mental coaching I provide can quickly help Chris Gayle improve his batting and be consistent.
This is what a client had to say about the mental coaching he received.
I have been playing Water Polo with the Jamaica National Team since the age of 17. I have always had a deep love for the game, but have always had bittersweet results. Nervousness in high pressure situations almost always resulted in failure or disappointment as I was unable to deliver or perform well under these circumstances. I had always trained hard and seldom missed practices so I knew that the problem was not physical or technical. Nevertheless, I knew that it was a problem that urgently needed to be addressed if I wanted to continue playing my favorite sport or representing Jamaica.
I am currently 31 years old, and was recently selected to represent Jamaica at the Caribbean Islands Swimming Championships (CISC) that were hosted here in Jamaica. I sought Christine Morris' assistance with regards to solving my problem. The results were amazing and unexpected. In practice games leading up to the competition I was scoring key goals and making solid plays that were contributing to victories instead of bad plays that contributed to losses. I was even more focused not only during games but during practices as well. I was more relaxed in high pressure situations. I was more in control. I did not have the same feeling of anxiety when the pressure was on.
Christine helped me identify some key areas that were causing my failure and made suggestions on how I could minimize or eliminate these factors. The end result is that we ended up winning gold in the competition, and I scored three goals.
I am not saying that we won the competition as a result of my sessions with Christine. I am saying that my personal performance was better as a result of these sessions, allowing me to be a contributing part of our team's success. Nor am I saying that the problems that I faced are completely alleviated. I am saying that my situation has improved significantly, and I will continue to train hard and work with Christine to improve even further.
In retrospect, I now realize more than ever that sport is not only physical. There is a large psychological aspect of sport that tends to be either undernourished or completely ignored. This is a grave mistake. Jamaica has always been a source of great athletes, based solely on the amount of raw talent and potential that exists. If we combine training of the psyche along with training of the body, the results will be phenomenal.

Gayle Under Fire After Latest Failure
Published: Monday | December 31, 2012
West Indies batting star Chris Gayle has come under fire from an opposing captain after another failure for Sydney Thunder in the Australian Big Bash yesterday.
The big-hitting left-hander scored just nine runs as the Thunder extended their winless streak to six games with a four-wicket loss to the Sydney Sixers, who had wily West Indies off-spinner Sunil Narine in their line-up.
Sixers skipper Brad Haddin, who was one of Gayle's two wickets in the game, hit out at the Jamaican following the result at Stadium Australia.
"He's been all talk so far this tournament and they haven't won a game," said Haddin, who was involved in verbal byplay with Gayle before he was dismissed for 18.
"It's disappointing to get out then. I was feeling pretty good, but at least the Thunder fans have seen Chris Gayle do something for his money."
Gayle unperturbed
Gayle, who celebrated with his now-characteristic Gangnam Style dance after dismissing Haddin, downplayed the comments.
"I've done a lot for (the Thunder) from last year," he said.
Gayle arrived at Thunder in a reported US$259,157 deal, but has scraped together just 70 runs from five innings.
His latest failure came when he was yorked by left-arm seamer Josh Lalor in the fifth over as Thunder, choosing to bat first, tallied 132 for six off their 20 overs. Usman Khawaja top-scored with 66 not out from 47 balls, while Narine picked up one for 23 from four overs.
In reply, Sixers reached their target with a full over to spare, thanks to an unbeaten 51 from Daniel Hughes.
Gayle, who opened the bowling, conceded just 17 runs from four overs of tight off spin.
